What We Do

The Butte Emergency Food Bank operates with the intention that no individual or family in the community experiences the fear and pain of hunger. Each year we distribute about 1,300,000 pounds of food–canned goods; boxed and bagged food; diapers; milk; bread and bakery items; meat and more–to Butte area residents, about 2,700 people each month.

Hours of Operation

The Butte Emergency Food Bank is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

You may call to schedule a Food Pick-Up between 9:00 am and 11:00 pm

Food Pick-Up begins at 11:00 am daily and bread is available beginning at 11:30 am.

Donate Food

Your food donations help us provide nutritious meals to those in need. We accept non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, and rice. You can drop off your donations at our location during our operating hours.

Volunteer

Volunteering with The Butte Emergency Food Bank is a rewarding way to give back to your community. We have a variety of opportunities available, including sorting donations, distributing food, and helping with fundraising events.

Events

We host events throughout the year to help raise awareness and funds for our cause. Join us for our annual food drive and Empty Bowls.
